The Mill Valley Lumber Yard Holiday Faire is back! Feel the winter spirit and join us December 7-10th for live music, unique holiday shopping, photos with Santa, a dog parade, crafts, delicious food, warm drinks and a seat by the fire pit to enjoy the festivities.

THURSDAY:

Join us for a Sip & Shop at our retail stores from 5-7pm! It's a perfect time to find a special gift for everyone on your list. Carols by accordion, photos with Santa, and crackling fire pit.

4:00PM-6:00PM - Santa is Coming to Town! Bring your family and snap a photo as your little ones share their wishes with Santa.

4:00PM-8:00PM - Crackling Fire Pit - Escape the winter chill and immerse yourself in the cozy ambiance of a crackling fire pit. Sip on a hot beverage, share laughter, and create memories with friends and family. 

5:00PM-7:00PM - Live Accordion Holiday Music with Dan Cooper and Retail Holiday Sip & Shop-  Indulge in the festive spirit with our Holiday Sip and Shop Extravaganza! Discover the perfect gifts for your loved ones or treat yourself to something special from our shops curated selections of artisanal goods, fashion finds, and one-of-a-kind treasures.

FRIDAY:

This is an evening to enjoy the Faire. Create a garland with our friends at Tantrum and dress your pup for the Fideaux holiday dog parade. Live Music by Matt Bolton from 5:00pm-7:00pm on the Aviator Nation stage. Gather with friends and grab a bite to eat at Millie’s Crêpe et Creme or on the patio of Watershed.

HOWL-O-WEEN DOG COSTUME COMPANY

Mill Valley is hosting its first annual Dog Costume Contest this Halloween season... and you are invited to participate!

Dog owner? Dress up your pooch in your most creative and outrageous costume. The first 100 dogs to show up will be eligible to enter. Once you've registered, you will walk your dog around (on leash) the Mill Valley Lumber Yard grounds while the crowd takes in your doggie's style and uses a special voting link. The top 10 best dressed dogs will be selected to participate in the final voting selection and will receive awards, including a grand prize winner. Eligible award categories include: Best DIY Costume, Best Owner + Pup Combo Costume, Funniest Costume, Most Clever Costume... and more.

Non-dog owner? We need you, too! Come take in the spectacle of adorable pups in costumes, vote on your favorites, and see who becomes the #1 best costumed dog in Mill Valley. At the very least, it will make for great social media fodder.

Come dine with us and bring a friend, a lover, or your little rascals with you! This lovely brunch includes: A reserved table for one hour, unlimited crêpes, ice cream and milkshakes of your choosing, a complimentary bottle of bubbles, a pitcher of orange juice and some brewed coffee. Pricing for 2 adults : $175 A family of 4: $200 Additional children: $25/per child. 11am-1:00pm & 5pm-7:00pm Once Around is offering a print-your-own gift wrap workshop for kids and adults. For $1 per yard you can adorn our kraft or white wrapping paper with seasonal motifs. Sign-up sheet available or just come by the shed.

11:30am-1:30pm Make Pet Ornaments with V. Mimiaga Art Studio. Pets are part of the family and now you can make them part of the tree. This workshop is $20.00 per person and a great one for children too. Sign-up with Victoria 415-606-8270 in advance. 10 people maximum per hour. Each ornament should take less than one hour to complete.

Workshop 1: 1:00pm- 2:00pm Workshop 2: 3:00pm -4:00pm  Design your own European style grapevine wreath with Bloomingayles. You will use unique natural elements: foliage, berries, pods, feathers, sponge mushrooms & eucalyptus. Limited to 6 people per class. 2:30pm-4:00pm (GF) Gingerbread House Decorating with Flour Craft Bakery. A fully assembled (6”x8”) gingerbread house will be provided as will royal icing and an array of festive candies for decorating. Participants will be able to take home their finished masterpiece. Sign-ups will be available on their website. The cost is $75.00 p/p with a maximum of 20 ppl. Advance reservations are required and payment is due at time of booking and is non-refundable. 5% of proceeds will be donated to Tam High Foundation.
