A Living Piece of
Mill Valley History
One of Marin County's oldest and most storied commercial properties — the Lumber Yard has had only eight owners in over 130 years. The Mathews family is its current steward, preserving its soul while welcoming the future.
"We purchased the Lumber Yard to keep the buildings from being bulldozed — to retain the history and character of its past."
— Matt & Jan Mathews, Owners
