French-born wine manager Fabien Réty has been passionate about wine since the late 1990s — spending years geeking out with natural winemakers, studying wine sciences in the Southern Rhône, and building a reputation at beloved Bay Area spots like Verjus and Noe Valley Wine & Spirits. When a little creekside space opened up at the Mill Valley Lumberyard, Fabien saw his chance to bring that passion home.
He opened Eddy Bar & Bottle in September 2021 as a boutique bottle shop and tasting room right next door to Watershed Restaurant. The focus is low-intervention, terroir-driven wines from all over the world — France, Napa, Spain, Italy, Slovakia, Hungary and beyond — with a $20 curated flight that makes it easy to explore.
